The Conclave Begins

The College of Cardinals has just finished the Mass asking for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as the Conclave begins.  In a few short hours the Cardinal Electors will lock themselves in the Sistine Chapel and have the first (and only) vote of the day.  Tomorrow there will be four votes, unless a pontiff is elected during one of the votes.  As the electors gather to vote, please pray for the electors.  Pope Bl. John Paul II reflected on the conclave and wrote down his reflections.
